About this subject
Throughout the course, students complete various practical tasks incorporating Workplace Health and Safety, hygiene and food safety in the school kitchen. Students work independently and collaboratively to produce food products.
The Technology Design Process is used to produce, generate, analyse, evaluate and manage various projects and products.
The topics covered include:
‘The Australian Guide to Healthy Eating’.
The application of the Australian Dietry Guidelines
Production Evaluations
Creating work plans
Creating timelines for production tasks.
Types of learning activities
