SHB30121 Certificate III Beauty Services
Delivered at Bendigo TAFE, Kangan Institute (RTO: 3077)
In this course you will learn the skills and knowledge to competently provide a range of quality beauty services and customer service to beauty salon clients. This qualification will allow you to work independently and collaboratively within a team to deliver and distinct beauty services.
This course includes training in demonstrating and selling retail skin care and cosmetic products. You’ll also learn about safe hygiene and work practices and environmental sustainability, with a combination of classroom and hands-on practical exercises.
Students who receive a VCE VET Unit 3–4 sequence for the VCE VET Beauty Services qualification will be eligible for an increment towards their ATAR (10% of the lowest study score of the primary four studies).

Students meet minimal requirements for Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN).
These skills are fundamental to participation in the workforce, the community and in adult education and training.
This qualification will help you find employment as a makeup artist, beauty advisor, beauty consultant, retail product sales and product demonstration.
On completion of this course can lead into the Diploma of Beauty Therapy
