SIS30122 Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics and Recreation

VET Sport and Recreation is for students who are passionate about health, fitness, and general well-being, or just have a love of sport or helping individuals and teams to develop skills. Completing a qualification in Sport & Recreation opens the door to a diverse range of employment and further study opportunities.
VCAA Assessment
VCE VET Credit:
Students undertaking SIS30122 are eligible for up to five VCE VET units on their VCE (including VCE VM and VPC) statement of results.
Three VCE VET units at Unit 1/2 level
A VCE VET Unit 3-4 sequence
Scored Assessment:
Students who wish to receive an ATAR contribution must undertake scored assessment. This consists of three coursework tasks that are worth 65% of the overall study score and an end of year examination that is worth 34% of the overall study score.

BSBWHS308: Participate in WHS hazard identification, risk assessment and control processes
SISSSCO001: Conduct sport coaching sessions with foundation level participants

SISXPLD004: Facilitate groups
SISXPLD002: Deliver recreation sessions

Entry Requirements:
Students meet minimal requirements for Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN). These skills are fundamental to participation in the workforce, the community and in adult education and training.
