At Catherine McAuley College we are committed to the Gospel of Jesus and living out the spirit of Mercy and the mission of Catherine McAuley. Our Religious Education courses at Year 11 and 12 aim to be innovative and inclusive of all our students, with a focus on community service and social justice.
Religious Education is a compulsory subject for all Year 11 and 12 students. All students are required to choose from the following options as part of their program.

*Students who complete Religion & Society Unit 3/4 can receive a study line, in lieu of the school-based option of Religion and Society Unit 2.
Students who undertake the school-based preference will undertake VCE Religion & Society Unit 2 in Year 11 and will select a Living Mercy Religious Education class they will undertake in Year 12. Student who completed Yr 10 iGEN are eligible to undertake Yr 11 iGEN for a semester.
