About this subject
Textiles provides students with an opportunity to work through the design process. Working to client briefs, they design, produce and evaluate a number of textiles products.

Introduction to Tools and Machinery,
The Design Process
Following Production Plans
Machine Sewing and Hand Stitching
Types of learning activities
Throughout the course, students complete various theoretical and practical tasks, incorporating:
Workplace Health and Safety
Independent and collaborative tasks to produce products to suit the need of a client.
Application of the the Technology Design Process to produce, generate, analyse, evaluate and manage various projects and products.
