ACM20121 Certificate II in Animal 2 Year Course)
Delivered at the Coolock Trade Training Centre in partnership with WISE Training Services (RTO: 6653)
This course provides students with the opportunity to undertake nationally recognised industry-based training. Students undertake units from Certificate II in Animal Studies and can elect to participate over two years to achieve a full certificate, or one year for partial completion. VET animal studies allow students to learn the foundation knowledge and practical skills required for a career in the animal industry.

Students will be awarded the Certificate II in Animal Care on the successful completion of all the required units of competency. The RTO Wise Training Services are responsible for issuing qualifications and statements of attainment associated with this course.

ACMGEN309: Provide basic first aid for animals
ACMGEN205: Source and provide information for animal care needs
ACMEXH301: Handle companion animals safely and follow infection control guidelines
ACMINF021: Provide general care of common native mammals
ACMWHS201: Participate in work health and safety processes (Year 1 students only)
