Year 10 

Year 10 is the first year students experience at the St Mary's campus. 

Students get the opportunity to diversify their programs, with a range of subject options, allowing them to explore their personal interests and develop their skills further in their areas of passion and interest. 

In year 10 students study 7 subjects per semester. These are broken down into core and elective blocks.

Students must select from the following:

• 1 English core subject per semester

• 1 Mathematics choice per semester

• Year 10 Religion and Society Unit 1 or iGEN per semester

Students then complete 4 elective subjects each semester. 

We encourage students to select one VCE or VET acceleration subject for the full year, and to select a diverse range of elective subjects from different learning areas from the year 10 elective list. Students may choose to instead select 2 additional elective subjects in year 10.
