22632VIC Certificate II Engineering Studies
Delivered at the Park Road Trade Training Centre in partnership with BSSC (RTO: 6659)
Are you hoping to secure an apprenticeship and develop an engineering career in the metal fabrication, manufacturing or mechanical field? Then this course will help you get started.
You will learn how to produce technical drawings, basic fabrication techniques and machining processes, the use of hand and power tools, and how to handle basic engineering projects. Overall, this course gives you entry-level skills for the engineering industry and will increase your potential to gain an apprenticeship.

CERTIFICATION
CERTIFICATION
Students will be awarded the Certificate II in Engineering Studies on the successful completion of all the required units of competency. The RTO is responsible for issuing qualifications and statements of attainment associated with this course.
Students wishing to receive an ATAR contribution for a scored VCE VET program must undertake scored assessment for the purpose of achieving a study score. This study score can contribute directly to the ATAR.

VU23476: Report on the sectors and employment in the manufacturing, engineering and related industries
VU23477: Interpret and prepare basic two- and three-dimensional engineering drawings
VU23478: Prepare basic machining processes
VU23479: Apply basic fabrication techniques
VU23481: Apply occupational health and safety principles in an engineering environment
