CUA20720 Certificate II in Visual Arts
Delivered onsite in partnership with COSAMP (RTO: 41549)
This course provides students with foundation skills and knowledge in art design, as well as begin preparation of a portfolio for further study, entry-level positions in the creative industry or a career as an independent artist.
The program includes both digital processes and traditional approaches to producing creative products. The program is designed to provide a pathway to a range of vocational qualifications, including diplomas of visual arts, visual merchandising, photography and design.
Looking forward to 2027, with the proposal of implementing Unit 3 and 4 Visual Arts.
VCE VET Credit:
Students undertaking CUA20720 are eligible for up to four VCE VET units on their VCE (including VCE VM and VPC) statement of results.
Four VCE VET units at Unit 1/2 level
Contribute to health and safety of self and others
Develop drawing skills to communicate ideas
Make simple creative work
Source and use information relevant to own arts practice
Students meet minimal requirements for Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN). These skills are fundamental to participation in the workforce, the community and in adult education and training.
