About this subject
Throughout this subject, students complete various practical tasks incorporating Workplace Health and Safety, hygiene and food safety in the school kitchen. Students work independently and collaboratively to produce food products.
The Technology Design Process is used to produce, generate, analyse, evaluate and manage various projects and products.

Introduction and implementation of ‘The Australian Guide to Healthy Eating’.
The application of nutrition principles and the characteristics and properties of food, food selection and preparation
Production Evaluations
Creating work plans
Creating timelines for production tasks.
