This qualification reflects the varied roles of individuals across different industry sectors who apply a broad range of competencies using some discretion, judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge.
VET Business will help you develop skills and knowledge to be successful in a wide range of workplaces. You will develop important soft skills that can be translated to a number of different industries. These skills include customer service, teamwork and critical thinking skills.
You will explore the technology used in a workplace and produce a range of business documents using modern software and technology.
VCE VET Credit:
Students undertaking BSB30120 are eligible for up to six VCE VET units on their VCE (including VCE VM and VPC) statement of results.
Two VCE VET units at Unit 1/2 level
A scored VCE VET Unit 3-4 sequence
A non-scored VCE VET Unit 3-4 sequence
Scored Assessment:
Students who wish to receive an ATAR contribution must undertake scored assessment. This consists of three coursework tasks that are worth 66% of the overall study score and an end of year examination that is worth 34% of the overall study score.
