About this subject
In Systems Technology, students focus on exploring a range of programming concepts through the use of the EV3 development environment.
Students complete a range of programming activities that focus on using a problem-solving methodology to create a solution that satisfies a brief. Following this, students explore 3D modelling software upon investigating how these are used in the world today.
The focus areas include:
Creating Digital Solutions
Program design and interpretation
Develop digital interactions between various digital systems
Types of learning activities
Throughout the course, students complete various theoretical and practical tasks, incorporating:
Design, create, manage and evaluate sustainable and innovative digital solutions.
Use the key concepts of abstraction; data collection, representation and interpretation to create digital solutions.
Apply systems thinking to monitor, analyse and predict interactions within and between information systems.
