Excellent pathway to further study at Diploma and Bachelor level for any health care career.
Students meet minimal requirements for Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN). These skills are fundamental to participation in the workforce, the community and in adult education and training.
Students who select this course will have to complete mandatory workplace training by completing 120hrs of industry experience (SWL), however, they have the option not to do so.
Choosing to not participate in the mandatory workplace training would result in a partial completion of the Certificate, but still carry the benefit of a study score towards their ATAR and industry related knowledge. The advantage of this knowledge going into health-related tertiary study is highly advantageous.
