• Specialty Centers information for 8th Graders:

Reminder, 8th graders must apply by December 1.

• Winter MAP testing will be administered on December 2nd (math), December 7th (reading), and December 8th and 9th for language usage. If your child is a car rider, please have them at school no later than 7:35. We will have an altered schedule for December 2nd and 7th. Please contact Mrs. Doersch with any questions at Michele_Doersch@ccpsnet.net.

• Our 1st Friday Spirit Day for December is this week, Friday December 3rd. Wear a shirt, jersey, or hat to represent your favorite sports team. Hokies, Hoos, or Nationals… who will get the most love from Robious?

• We are short of our goal of collecting a gift card for each staff member to be distributed before winter break. If you are in a position to donate and have not yet had a chance, we are still collecting gift cards. If you prefer, you can make financial contribution and the PTSA will purchase them for you. Please send your gift card or financial donations in with your student and ask them to drop it off in the office. Thank you!

• Attention Winter Guard Students & Parents:

There will be a team meeting via Zoom this Monday, November 29 @ 7:00PM. The link and passcode to the meeting were passed out to students last week along with their season packet.

• Hooked on Books is a James River High School Senior Capstone Project. It is a book drive and author's event benefiting K-2nd grade students at a local title one elementary school in Chesterfield County, Jacobs Road Elementary School. Any old or slightly worn picture books or early reading level chapter books would be greatly appreciated! A large bin will be located at the main entrance of RMS from December 6th-December 17th. We would greatly appreciate your support!

• Mr. Berry and Kids Fit & Fun is offering a Holiday Basketball Clinic here at school over winter break. The clinic will be held on December 28, 29 and 30 from 9am to 2pm each day. The clinic is for any girl or boy ages 7 to 14. There is no experience necessary to attend the clinic. You can sign up for one day, two days or join him for all three days.
