Medication Pickup: If your child has medication in the clinic, don't forget to come in and pick it up. The last day to pick up medication is Tue., June 7. Medication that remains after that date will be disposed of. Please call the school nurse if you have any questions.
Transportation Update: In preparation for the 2022-2023 school year, please log into ParentVUe and update your transportation arrangements. The Transportation Department will be working hard over the summer to prepare routes and make arrangements for students.
Library News:
All Library books are currently due back to the RMS library. There are no fines but if a book is lost or damaged, there is a replacement fee. Please check with your student to see if they currently have books outstanding.
Students can log into their library account by clicking on the Library catalog on their dashboard, then clicking on My Account on the left side, entering the library card number (student ID) and Pin number (last 4 digits of the ID), then clicking the name on the top right hand corner and checking loans.
Countdown to 8th Grade Field Day is on! Field day will be on the last day of school- Thursday, June 2 (this is a ½ day). Students will be able to enjoy games, music, snacks, and fun activities to close out their time at RMS. We are looking for parent volunteers to help us safely execute these plans as well as popsicle donations for the event. Click HERE to sign up to volunteer or donate items.
PTSA News: The PTSA has nominated a partial slate of officer candidates for the 2022-23 school year. You can review the nominations HERE. There will be a vote to approve the candidates at the next PTSA meeting on Wednesday, 6/1. All current RMS PTSA members are eligible to vote at this meeting. We are still looking for volunteers to fill several open positions. Many of these roles can be done remotely from home with a minimal time commitment. Summer Reading
Students are encouraged to read at least TW0 to THREE books over the summer. Students who have read at least 3 books over the summer will be entered into a drawing for Robious Spirit Wear and gift cards.
Write down the titles of the books that you read over the summer and submit it to your English teacher or Librarian in August.

The 2022-23 PTSA RSVP (Robious Student Volunteer Program) forms are now available. If you student plans to do some volunteering this summer we encourage you to document their time and submit it in the fall. Students with enough qualified hours over the course of the year can earn the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for their work. You can find the new form HERE.

JRHS PTSO has some open board and committee positions. We meet the first Tues. of each month Sept-May and will touch base this summer.
We need: VP Programs-Chair and committee members, Fundraising- Committee Members, Membership- Chair, Communications- committee members. We help each other and are flexible because we understand each of you are busy and have other school commitments. We also won’t tell your student and will support your silent help if they are blocking you from being involved. If you want to share the task; bring a friend. JRHS PTSO looks forward to having new members representing all the students who attend JRHS. More Board positions may open as people identify their scheduling needs for next year.
