The RMS library is excited to be having The Scholastic Book Fair from October 9th-19th in the RMS library. Students will be visiting the book fair with their English classes or may come in on a pass. All families are invited to join us for our evening book fair on October 12th from 6-8pm in the library. Enjoy a free ice cream while shopping the book fair and participating in maker activities including creating origami, making light up bookmarks, using the makey makey coding kits and more.
We would love to have parent volunteers help during our book fair and you may sign up by clicking on the link below:

At Robious Middle School it is a priority that all students and families feel as though they truly belong to the school community. We embrace diversity and want to make sure that we are doing everything we can to make certain that all students feel valued.
Some parents and myself will host a discussion open to all families on October 11, at 7:30 pm in the library at Robious Middle. Please consider coming, having a cup of coffee, and sharing your experiences. We would like to hear your concerns. Help us help you.

Robious Middle School is collecting soft plastic for the TREX challenge this year. We have been a 1st place winner the last two years out of 123 schools in Virginia. Pretty proud of that. Last year we collected over 1700 LBS, diverting it from the landfill and allowing it to be turned into new products. As we know, success comes when we get parents on board. PLEASE save all SOFT plastics.... like grocery bags, plastic sleeves around cases of water, paper towels, and again all those grocery bags. Have your student bring them to the clinic to get a sweet reward, because this is a win win contest!!!
