Congratulations to our Employees of the Month, Ms. Voigt, Ms. Walton, Ms. Cushman, Ms. Preston, Ms. Keaton, and Ms. Brooks!
Many thanks to the RMS PTA for hosting the Cohort 4 informational public forum this past Wednesday. All of the information we presented can be found on the "Cohort 4 return" section of this site. See link above. Please pay careful attention to the two videos that describe procedures for attending school in-person.
If your student is returning in person next week, please use the following website to locate bus information. The information on the site below is more accurate than information on ParentVue.

Upon returning to school our hybrid students will engage in orientation style activities during Roundtable during their first days of in-person learning. We will review expectations with our students and highlight parts of the building for new students. Additionally, staff will ensure that students are able to find classes, with signage in the hallway and teachers holding signs as well.
The bell schedule has been adjusted. As a note, this affects students learning virtually from home. We want to assure you that, outside of rare but legitimate exceptions, teacher assignments and student schedules WILL NOT change. Students learning virtually will eat lunch at the same time as students engaged in in-person learning. Your child's individual teacher will communicate this time.
Students should log in at the beginning of each class on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays when they are at home. Students attending virtually will be marked present by the teacher. Please note that instruction will continue as it has during virtual learning, with all students (in-person and virtual) receiving the same access to direct instruction.
Beginning November 11, Wednesdays are asynchronous days after Roundtable. Wednesdays are NOT days off from school. Teachers will post assignments to Canvas for completion. Students should check Canvas for assignments using the calendar date and whether it is an odd or even day.
Lockers will not be assigned this year in order to maintain safety during hallway transitions. Students will need a bag to carry supplies from class to class. Backpacks are allowed; however, please pack wisely and be sure they are not too heavy as students will need to carry them from class to class throughout the day.
In order to limit exposure, we are asking that parents not come to school to drop off any items a student might have forgotten to bring unless it is an essential item, such as a Chromebook, glasses, medication, etc. Please bring the item bagged if possible and labeled with the student's name. The item can be left in the vestibule by the front office. Keep in mind that school provided breakfast and lunch is free for all students throughout the 2020-2021 school year.
Chromebook helpdesk information:
Chromebook Service Desk for in-person students will be held daily (M, T, Th, Fri) from 7:35-8:35am.
Students that are 100% virtual and need Chromebook assistance can call Robious Middle School (378-2510) to arrange a repair.

An extension of our already wonderful NJROTC program, the Junior Cadet Club will include all who are willing to learn military core values, our vital Cadet Creed and our Honor Code, and the importance of recognizing those who have served. A program of, by, and for cadets that would be conducted once a week after school, it will help all middle school "clubbers" of all grades to grow in followership, leadership and citizenship as well as teamwork with engaging lessons and activities including an introduction to our many teams. To sign up click here and fill out the Google form. See our schedule for the remainder of 2020 below to fit the anticipated Hybrid school model. Have a fine Navy day!

Beginning on Monday (11/9), we are once again going to do school like we have never done it before. We will be providing instruction for both in-person and virtual students simultaneously. We have been planning extensively and we appreciate all of your patience as we work out the kinks that will develop along the way. Our teachers and staff have been working tirelessly to provide virtual instruction and are getting ready to kick it up another notch and work even harder. Take a moment and thank them. They deserve it more than you know.
You put the US in Robious!
