Special thanks to Jake Nelson and Troop 1829 for their work on the RMS Mighty Knights’ Courtyard Garden. Jake organized the project and led 44 volunteers for a total of 176 service hours as part of his Eagle Project.
The project included:
Building four hoop house greenhouses to cover the raised beds
Adding sand, gravel, and rocks to level the pavers and patio area
Weeding and cleaning up debris in and around the courtyard
Painting the wrought iron furniture
Cleaning litter off the campuses of RMS and RES
Fixing the RES greenhouse
We are proud that our Raiders and their friends used their Spring Break time to give back to the school and the community. If you are interested in more information on scouting with Troop 1829, you can contact Ben Pearson-Nelson at benpearsonnelson@gmail.com.
