• Building Ranks Survey Reminder- As a reminder, please complete the Building Ranks Survey. The survey is a great way for us to collect feedback as we prepare for next school year.

• Beginning Monday, we will move to one dismissal at 2:05. Please remind your student that it is the expectation that students report directly to the bus loop or parent pick up area. Thank you for the support!

• Join the PTSA for our monthly meeting this Wednesday, 3/2 @ 6:30 via Zoom. With the lifting of many restrictions for student activities we are looking for input for end of year programming.

• Advisory committees established by the Chesterfield County School Board are one way that community members connect with their local schools. Please consider applying for a current opening in your district using this link.

• 6th and 7th graders, course requests are posted to Student/ParentVue. Course verification forms will be sent home the week of March 7 for final review. All schedule request changes are due by March 18. Submit changes here - http://bit.ly/rmsclasschange2223.

8th graders, course requests are also posted to Student/ParentVue. Schedule changes may be submitted to James River through this google form. Schedule request changes are due by April 14.

• Auditions for our school play, Bedtime Stories (As Told by Our Dad) (Who Messed Them Up), are this week. Auditions for last names A-K will be Monday, February 28th and last names L-Z will be Tuesday, March 1st, from 2:15 until 5:00 in the forum. Note the end time is later than Drama Club. Students who have a conflict with their day should come the other day. Some students may need to be seen again on Thursday, March 3rd. The pick up time for Thursday is 6:00. Performances don’t need to be prepared ahead, but students must have the required permission slip signed and the Google Form completed at the Interest Meeting.
