Spring Break is April 4-8. It is hard to believe this is the longest we have been in person in school in over two years. Our mantra for Spring Break is "disconnect to reconnect". I am encouraging all students and staff to enjoy the break and spend time doing things they love. That being said, staff members will be disconnecting from their work emails over the break and will be available again on April 11. Have a great break!
With nearly 60% of the vote, 8th graders will be dancing away at “Hollywood Night”!
The photo booth is booked, and raffle prizes are in the works!
So whether you are Cha Cha or Electric Slidin’, Cupid Shufflin’ or Moonwalkin’,
We hope to see you on Friday night, May 6th for a night to remember!
We will contact student volunteers soon with lots of planning options.
Congratulations to the Raider Winter Guard on their 1st Place finish this past weekend at AIA South County in Fairfax. The team improved their score by over 10 points earning a 92.39! They head to circuit championships this weekend at the Hampton Coliseum!
Attention Drama Students: James River High School has invited us to check out their Theatre Program on Friday, April 15th from 11:00 to 2:00. This is a day we are off school, so students will need to provide their own transportation to James River. We will meet some older students, tour the theater, have lunch, and play some theatre games. Click HERE for a permission slip or see Mrs. DiFazio. Please turn in permission slips to the envelope on Mrs. DiFazio’s door (room 364) before spring break.
Robious Middle School is excited to be hosting a Book Fair in April. We would love to have a few parent volunteers help during the school day and one evening. Please look at the schedule and Sign up to volunteer at the Scholastic Book Fair. This will be held in the RMS library.
Please email donna_wilson with any questions.
Please come out and support our Builders Club fundraiser on Tuesday, March 29 from 4-8 at Crumbl. Crumbl is located in the shopping center at the corner of Robious and Huguenot next to Eggs Up Grill. The Builders Club serves the community in a variety of ways such as having a party with the residents of Morningside, making dog and cat toys for the SPCA and most recently bagging over 100 lunches for the homeless. Our projects can be costly so your support would be greatly appreciated!
The Robious Band and Chorus are holding a joint fundraiser now through this Friday, April 1. Our expenses each year add up quickly with purchasing new music, paying for the required Assessments, repairing and replacing instruments, the list goes on. If you are so inclined to help spread the word or donate, we would be so appreciative!
