Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, Ms. Ashley Arnone! This prestigious honor is well deserved as Ms. Arnone is a dedicated practitioner who is continually seeking methods to reach and challenge all of her students.
Congratulations to our Students of the Year, Ber van der Meer and Jacob Ceballos Vargas!
This week is National School Library Week! Mrs. Wilson, Mrs. Oliver, and Mrs. Davidson do an outstanding job at making the Robious Middle library/media center a thriving hub of student activity and engagement.

Robious Middle School Visual and Performing Arts will be hosting a Family Art Night Fundraiser! F.A.N. Because we're all fans of the Arts! Friday April 20th from 5 - 7:30.
Mark your calendars...
The event includes: Artwork from visual arts students, a faculty art show, children's art activities, performances by choir and solo & ensemble groups, face painting, a community art project, meet & greets with our featured student artists and more...
Hope to see you there!
This coming Friday is the end of the marking period. Please check ParentVue and make sure that your child has turned in all assignments. Reach out to teachers if you have questions. Don’t wait until Thursday night to do so. Remember that students must pass all four core content classes and either their elective or PE to be promoted to the next grade level. Students can take only two classes in summer school. Your child does NOT want to go to summer school.
As we get closer to testing season, I would like to make sure you are all aware of the following resources. The first link takes you to SOL parent resources from Chesterfield and the second link takes you to Virginia Department of Education resources.

If you permit your child to use social media, please, please, please, monitor what they are doing. Many of our young scholars do not realize that they are guilty by association simply by "liking" or "following" something that is inappropriate. Please stress with your child that they should never forward or send something that is questionable. If your child receives something that is inappropriate please let administration know. Here's an interesting article with some helpful suggestions:
