Friday (11/11) is Veterans Day. This is an important time to remember those who risked their lives to defend the freedom of others.

No school on Monday (11/7). This is parent-teacher conference day.
No school on Tuesday (11/8). This is election day.
Flag football/handball intramural will be on Wednesday (11/9) and Thursday (11/10) from 7:00 to 8:15am.
There will be an information session for the YMCA Leadership program for any interested 8th grader in the forum on Wednesday (11/9) at 1:00.
There will be a Climbing Club interest meeting on Wednesday (11/9) in the forum at 1:15.
STEAM Club will meet on Wednesday (11/9) from 3:00 to 4:00pm.
Boys basketball tryouts for 7th and 8th graders will be on Wednesday (11/9) from 3:00 to 5:00pm. Tryouts for 6th graders will be on Thursday (11/10) from 3:00 to 5:00pm.
Governor's Academy for Engineering Studies Open House will be on Wednesday (11/9) from 6:00 to 7:00pm at LC Bird High School.
Visual and Performing Arts Open House will be on Wednesday (11/9) from 6:30 to 7:30pm at Thomas Dale High School.
The cross country county championship will be on Thursday (11/10) at 2:00pm at Rockwood Park.
Appomattox Regional Governor's School Open House will be on Thursday (11/10) from 6:30 to 7:30pm.
Coding Club will meet on Friday (11/11) in room 355 from 3:00 to 4:00pm.
