What a great week! All of our young scholars were fantastic and we're looking forward to a second week!
Back to School Night, scheduled for the evening of September 9, will no longer be an in-person event. Similar to last year, teachers will be pre-recording brief introductory videos and these will be shared through the Raider Report on September 9. Thank you for your understanding as all CCPS Back to School Nights will be virtual this year.
A Special thanks to SignScapers for donating the “Welcome Back Raiders” yard sign last week. Signscapers is more than just locally owned, it’s operated by one of our very own RMS 8th graders, and his older brother, a senior at James River!

Help the PTA Reach our Goals!
The Robious Middle PTA is up and running for the year and has already provided a breakfast and lunch for teachers and staff during teacher work week. The work we do for staff and students depends on the support of our families. If you have already joined the PTA- Thank You! We currently have 225 members on a goal of 500.
Don’t Forget the Raider Fund!
The Raider Fund is our direct donation program that allows RMS families to directly fund the programing of the PTA without asking our kids to sell stuff or participate in “thon” fundraisers. Parents consistently tell us they prefer this method of fundraising! We are currently at $1400 on a goal of $5000 in donations. 100% of your contribution stays at RMS and is fully tax deductible.
To join the PTA and donate to the Raider Fund, visit the store on our website. You can add your donation and membership to your cart just like typical online shopping and pay with one checkout. Or send cash or check to school in an envelope marked “PTA Raider Fund”.
