2017 - Week of April 3

Post date: Apr 3, 2017 1:59:17 AM

Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, Sandra Guyer!

This week, April 3rd-7th, 2017, the Robious Middle School Health and Physical Education Department, in conjunction with the Chesterfield County Student Wellness Department, will be participating in The 9-5-2-1-0 Initiative.

The initiative is centered around the concept that optimal health is achieved through the following daily actions...

  • Sleeping nine full hours per night.
  • Consuming five servings of fruits and/or vegetables daily.
  • Spending less than two hours per day of combined screen time (television, mobile devices, etc.)
  • Exercising one hour or more per day.
  • Consuming zero sugary beverages.

Click here to find a schedule of the wellness activity to be emphasized each day. We ask that you try to incorporate these principles at home if possible, in order to continue the conversation of how we can all achieve wellness in our day to day lives. If you have any questions, please contact your student's health and physical education teacher.

The girls soccer team will be hosting Salem Church Middle on Monday (4/3) and Davis Middle on Tuesday (4/4) and will be traveling to Providence Middle on Thursday (4/6).
