2017 - 2018 Here We Come!

Hello Robious Middle families! We are excited for the coming school year and anxious to get started with your young scholars!

Here are some dates to remember:

Schedule Day is Thursday, August 31. Sixth grade and new students can come from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. During this time students will be able to pick up their schedules, tour the school, meet teachers and staff, and join the PTA. 7th and 8th graders will have the same opportunity from 4:00 - 6:00 pm.

Any new orchestra student who has not yet attended an instrument fitting session can come to our final one before school starts: Monday August 29 - 6:30 - 8:00 in the library and forum.

6th grade Back To School Night is September 12th at 6:30.

7th and 8th grade Back to School Night is September 26th at 6:30.

If you would like your young scholar to try out for a sport, she/he will need a physical dated May 1, 2017 or after to participate. The in-school physicals are scheduled for September 6th from 3:15 - 4:15 in the gymnasium.

Here's a message from your Robious Middle PTA:

Welcome back parents!

Your RMS PTA will be at schedule day for you to renew your membership or join for the first time. Memberships are $10 for an individual or $20 for a family. You may also make a tax deductible donation to the Raider Fund at that time. So, be sure to bring your checkbook on 8/31 when you come to get your child’s schedule. Membership dues & donations to the Raider Fund are the main funding sources (in addition to Kroger Rewards & Box Tops) for our PTA. For those of you new to RMS, the PTA tries to do all of our fundraising up front – we know you want a break from the on-going fundraising that was done at the elementary school level.

RMS Spirit Wear will be available as well for purchase – check or cash only.

The RMS PTA is once again participating in the denim drive sponsored by Goodwill. Bring your outgrown denim on 8/31 and we will take care of getting it to the collection sites. Deadline for turning in denim is 9/22. We have won gift cards the past three years so let’s keep the streak going!
