• Transportation information: e-Link will provide the specifics of your student’s bus transportation for Tuesday, March 9, including pickup and dropoff locations, scheduled pickup and dropoff times, and the bus number. If you have not used e-Link in the past, directions and a video are located on the Transportation tab of the school division’s website found at: https://mychesterfieldschools.com/transportation/.

To correct errors or make changes:

Most information on which routes and stops are based is managed by your child’s school, and the Transportation Department does not have the ability to make address changes within the student information system.

• Residence is incorrect: Contact your school, and they can assist with an address change.

• Alternative address added/changed (such as a daycare): Use ParentVue or contact your school. Alternative addresses can be entered by parents or guardians through your ParentVue account. If you need assistance with ParentVue, please contact your school.

  • Changes can take 3-5 days to process and appear in e-Link. Please make alternate transportation arrangements until changes take effect.

If you have questions, please refer to the Transportation website to determine and contact your area office. (Students with no transportation accommodations should contact Areas 1, 2, 3, or 4 based on school of attendance. Students with transportation accommodations in their IEP should contact Area 5),

• 6th and 7th grade families,

Students and parents can now view their 2021-22 courses in StudentVue/ParentVue. Please click the attached letter for more information. The deadline for changes is Thursday, April 1.

• CCPSOnline registration is open for Summer 2021 and School Year 2021-22. Middle school courses will be offered again this summer and next year. Career Investigations (middle school required course) is also one of the courses being offered. Please visit the CCPSOnline website for entire course offerings and application information. We also recommend consulting with your school counselor for more details.

• James River High School Baseball will be holding tryouts Monday, April 12. An informational online meeting will take place on Monday, March 8th at 3:30. The meeting link is: meet.google.com/qvj-fyre-kss

• 8th graders will be allowed to try out for James River High School Boys Tennis starting April 12. You can join Remind - 8e7322 for updates and follow tennis on Instagram - jrhs_btennis as well. Parents with questions can email Coach Calfee - christopher_calfee@ccpsnet.net.

• If you have an overdue library book from any CCPS library, you can return it to RMS. There is a book return cart located outside the main office.

• Starting March 22nd, Yearbook club will be collecting individual student portraits for the yearbook. Students will have until April 1st to submit their photos. Please take a moment to capture a photo of your student for the yearbook! Photos should be taken from the shoulders up in a well lit area. Students will then have the opportunity to turn these in during Roundtable! Thank you for your help in making this year's yearbook a success!
