Join us this Thursday for the Robious Middle School Arts Extravaganza! This is the biggest art show at RMS in years and the place to be if you love the arts and want to support our own talented students. Featured exhibitions include: Chorus, Orchestra, Band, Drama, and the Visual Arts. This night is part of our PTSA School of Excellence program. This event is free and open to the public.

We are encouraging the entire community to attend, so please help us spread the word with your friends and your social networks.

ARTS EXTRAVAGANZA!

May 19, 5pm-8pm @ Robious Middle School

Because we are hosting the 8^th grade dance and field day, the PTSA will not be purchasing yard signs for 8^th graders this year. We do have a limited number of yard signs left over from last year for families that want them. They did not have a year printed on them so they are still fine to use. If you would like a yard sign please sign up using the link HERE. Once you sign up, you may pick up the sign from the lobby across from the front office during regular school hours. Students will not be allowed to take signs home on the bus.

Countdown to 8^th Grade Field Day is on! Field day will be on the last day of school- Thursday, June 2 (this is a ½ day). Students will be able to enjoy games, music, snacks, and fun activities to close out their time at RMS. We are looking for parent volunteers to help us safely execute these plans as well as popsicle donations for the event. Click HERE to sign up to volunteer or donate items.

The PTSA has nominated a partial slate of officer candidates for the 2022-23 school year. You can review the nominations HERE. There will be a vote to approve the candidates at the next PTSA meeting on Wednesday, 6/1. All current RMS PTSA members are eligible to vote at this meeting. We are still looking for volunteers to fill several open positions. Many of these roles can be done remotely from home with a minimal time commitment. Hello from the NJHS! We are holding a movie night on Friday, May 20th at 6:30 pm! Come join us in the forum to watch a movie with friends. We will be watching Shrek 2 by popular demand. Tickets are free and snacks will be provided! Tickets are limited, so stop by Ms. Arnold’s classroom (372) to secure your ticket(s). YOU MUST HAVE A TICKET FOR ENTRY! We hope to see you there!

Camp Epic is a summer program open to rising 5th through 8th graders. Registration is open for any programs with remaining seats until June 1st.

8th grade parents, your students have finished their tentative Academic Career plans for 7th-10th grades. You will receive an email tomorrow so you can review the plan.

If your child has medication in the clinic, don't forget to come in and pick it up. The last day to pick up medication is Tue., June 7. Medication that remains after that date will be disposed of. Please call the school nurse if you have any questions.

We will be hosting end of year Awards Ceremonies this year. Parent's of students receiving an award will be invited to the ceremony.
