This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Teachers have never been more deserving of appreciation than they are this year. The lengths that they are going for your children is nothing short of amazing. Please show them some gratitude.
Many thanks to the PTA for making this a special week for teachers and staff. They have ensured that teachers will be appreciated each day this week with plenty of food and treats. Thank you for supporting the PTA. A message from the RMS PTA:
National Teacher Appreciation Week is May 3-7!
One thing the pandemic has taught us is that teaching middle schoolers is HARD! The teachers have been going above and beyond this last year to keep our kids educated and no one has a better staff than RMS!
The PTA has been working hard to ensure our teachers, staff, and administrators feel the love on behalf of the students and parents of Robious Middle. Most of this will be handled by our PTA volunteers, but we are asking for your help for one part- we need you and your kids to Thank a Teacher! Food and snacks are great (plenty of that in our plans below), but nothing feels better than a quick email or note from a parent or student letting them know your appreciate their work. You can click HERE for a thank you note template your student can use or use your own imagination. Send your email or notes anytime next week or drop them in the office to be distributed. As always, the PTA is grateful for the ongoing financial support from our families that made these plans possible.
It's hard to believe this school year is already coming to a close! Thanks to all your help in submitting your students portrait photos, we are preserving this year’s memories in a digital format. Sports, clubs and student life, both digital and in person, will be featured throughout. We will continue to accept student life photos until May 15th. Photos can be emailed to natalie_puccia@ccpsnet.net. Families will receive access to a free copy of the yearbook at the beginning of June.
Parents of In-Person Learners, May 25, May 28, and June 7-11 are SOL testing days for virtual learners. These days we will have significantly more cars in the drop off line in the morning. If you will be driving your child to school these mornings, please plan accordingly.
All middle school families, Junior Cadet Club continues to meet virtually on Wednesdays. All middle schoolers (6th-8th grade) are welcome. Come join the fun at 3:15 by clicking on the link below. Junior Cadet Club will continue to meet on Wednesdays through 19 May.

The CCPS 2021 Fine Arts Festival is virtual! The advantage is that you don't have to drive or leave your home to experience it. Click here to see all of the amazing pieces that our extremely talented students submitted. Visual art, chorus, band, orchestra, and speech and drama are all represented. We are fortunate to have such a strong arts program and incredible student artists at RMS. Many thanks to our arts educators, Ms. Claud, Ms. Puccia, Mrs. Conner, Mrs. Longo, Mrs. Eaton, Mrs. Foster, and Mrs. DiFazio.
