You have received a lot of information from CCPS lately. One of the more important documents sent to you was Project Restart Updates which includes the updates made to the hybrid learning options. I will be sending out a survey tomorrow (9/29) so that you can let us know your final decision by the end of the week. The administration and counseling department will be hosting a virtual community forum on Thursday, October 1 at 4:00pm to present the options and answer any questions. I will send a meeting link later this week.
Here are your 3 options in a nutshell:
Beginning November 9th, come to school two days a week (A-K on Mondays and Tuesdays, L-Z on Thursdays and Fridays). On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, everyone tunes in to all of their classes and receives synchronous instruction for the first portion of class. On Wednesdays everyone will be at home, but we will all tune in for Roundtable AM at 7:30am together. The rest of Wednesday will be dedicated to asynchronous learning, remediation, small groups, etc.
Beginning November 9th, stay at home all five days of the week with the intention of returning to in-person instruction when you feel that it is right for your family.
You have decided that your student will definitely not be entering the school house at all this school year and will be participating in CCPSOnline.
