• Attention Drama Club Members! Our next meeting will be next Wednesday, March 17th. We are attempting both in person and virtual together. In person folks should line up outside the main forum doors at 2:15 so Mrs. DiFazio can check you in following Covid protocols. Virtual folks will log on at 2:30. Note the start time differences! In person folks should plan to have rides pick them up promptly at 4:00. We’ll put together some theatre and make some friends. Come make a scene!

Our James River High School Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Cadet Parent Organization (JRHS NJROTC CPO) parents will host a Zoom meeting NJROTC: A Parent's Perspective on Tuesday night at 6:00pm. Please join us on the call as some of our moms and dads share their experiences and how James River Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps is "The Best Fit for Many and Beneficial for All!" Our parents will also gladly take your questions and address any concerns.

All middle schoolers are welcome to join us for our virtual Junior Cadet Club where fun continues to happen every Wednesday at 3:15pm on your favorite Google meet Navy Rapids Junior Cadet Club. We look forward to seeing many of you on-line.

• 6th and 7th grade families,

Students and parents can now view their 2021-22 courses in StudentVue/ParentVue. Please click the attached letter for more information. The deadline for changes is Thursday, April 1.

• CCPSOnline registration is open for Summer 2021 and School Year 2021-22. Middle school courses will be offered again this summer and next year. Career Investigations (middle school required course) is also one of the courses being offered. Please visit the CCPSOnline website for entire course offerings and application information. We also recommend consulting with your school counselor for more details.

• James River High School Baseball will be holding tryouts Monday, April 12. An informational online meeting will take place on Monday, March 8th at 3:30. The meeting link is: meet.google.com/qvj-fyre-kss

• 8th graders will be allowed to try out for James River High School Boys Tennis starting April 12. You can join Remind - 8e7322 for updates and follow tennis on Instagram - jrhs_btennis as well. Parents with questions can email Coach Calfee - christopher_calfee@ccpsnet.net.

• If you have an overdue library book from any CCPS library, you can return it to RMS. There is a book return cart located outside the main office.

• Starting March 22nd, Yearbook club will be collecting individual student portraits for the yearbook. Students will have until April 1st to submit their photos. Please take a moment to capture a photo of your student for the yearbook! Photos should be taken from the shoulders up in a well lit area. Students will then have the opportunity to turn these in during Roundtable! Thank you for your help in making this year's yearbook a success!
