Our Facilities

Our building has been adapted over the years to include access for children in wheel chairs. All areas of the building are wheel chair accessible either via a ramp or external ground level doors. Our new library building also has a toilet designed for wheel chair access.

Both our car parks have a wheel chair friendly drop off for visitors and parents to use as required.

Several of our classrooms are adapted to support children with hearing aids and feature special receivers and microphones designed to amplify the teacher’s voice and support the child’s needs.

We make use of digital visualisers to magnify texts in all classrooms and have access to a wide resource bank of technology, resources and software designed to support individual learning needs.

All of our classrooms are equipped with electronic visualisers and large interactive white boards or large format interactive screens that enlarge print and display it clearly on the board for all children to see.

We regularly review our building and learning environments to ensure they are meeting the needs of our children and community. Our latest accessibility plan can be found under the Statutory Information section and details the plans we have to improve accessibility further.

In addition to our building we have access to a 17 seater minibus which is capable of transport children in wheel chairs to and from events, trips and school.
