Julia, how did your restoration actually begin?

Our relationship was no longer right since we let other things be more important than God and His things. We fought frequently and there was no longer any respect, affection, or admiration for each other. Then one day we had a very ugly fight and he took things and left home.

How did God change your situation Julia as you sought Him wholeheartedly?

Through friends, I met a couple that works with people with marriage problems. Together they began to encourage me not to give up.

What principles, from God's Word (or through our resources), Julia, did the Lord teach you during this trial?

The daily emails, along with your newsletters, were an additional incentive not to give up. Then,every time I thought about giving up, I remembered the excerpts from the How God Can and Will Restore Your Marriage book and the testimonies I had read in the courses I was taking.

What were the most difficult times that God helped you through Julia?

The most difficult moments were knowing he was with the OW. Especially when I received messages from her or when I saw photos on social networks with him and the many OWs. However the Lord helped me by reassuring me and telling me .. if I am for you what does it matter who is against you?

Julia, what was the “turning point” of your restoration?

The turning point was when I really turned everything over and left my marriage in God's hands. Then I no longer spent time calling, or looking, or talking about my husband, restoration, or my marriage. I only spoke about matters that were important, like our daughter. By me just being a happy mom to her, she was able to cope with everything and to deal with her life surrounded by His love.

Tell us HOW it happened Julia? Did your husband just walk in the front door? Julia, did you suspect or could you tell you were close to being restored?

My husband called me about buying an apartment for me and my daughter. During the conversation, I casually commented on the couple I had met and asked him to meet them, but only if he wanted to. To my surprise he accepted, but did not want to go alone and told me: YOU ARE MY WIFE and you have to go with me.

The next day, we went to see the apartment and he asked if I liked the new place and asked if I wanted to live there together. Glory to God!

Would you recommend any of our resource in particular that helped you Julia?

Yes, the book How God Can and Will Restore Your Marriage, was the key point that taught me not to give up. Then going through your free courses and reading the newsletter also was very helpful.

Either way Julia, what kind of encouragement would you like to leave women with, in conclusion?

That God is the only one who can and will restore your marriage, even if everyone says it is impossible, even your husband. Get God to fight for you, don’t fight for your marriage yourself but do not give up trusting it will happen. It is only with God that you will win this battle.
