The Domino started life as Luxury Liner. She was designed to haul thousands in comfort and style.

On top, her Hotel decks leave little to be desired. Fine furnishings, food services, and rec areas.

Then next down she has Dormitory Decks, which are great places in which to travel.

Next layer down is the Quadrangle, barrack-style rooms with large common areas that still can move 1000s of colonists.

Further down are the Common Decks, with the massive “hab-block-in-space” that the poorer folk are used to, if they travel.

Next of the layers would be the Steerage class, which are basically huge rooms for 100 people to roll out a blanket on the hard deck.

Her vast food stores were useful in the liner biz, and even steerage ate better than most (back then)

Nowadays her halls are empty mostly of passengers, and she runs cargo. The crew lives nicely in the old Dorm decks,

And any passengers stay in the old hotel decks. The rest has been optimized for cargo usage.

She served her House Candalith for 170 years, but was then lost to House Trask in a gambling wager. With the wrong disposition and wrong goals,

she never made a profit for Trask, and was used by his factol as capital on a scheme. So she ended up for sale at Port Wander,

and the only bidders were Windsor and House Chorda. Windsor got the ship, and Chorda got the crew.
