Distribution and Variation of Oecetis parva (Trichoptera: Leptoceridae)

Abstract: We present new records for a rare species of Oecetis recently collected in South Carolina, with notes on observed morphological variation in males and females across the recorded range. Material examined from South Carolina and Alabama is deposited in the Clemson University Arthropod Collection, Clemson, South Carolina, USA. Material collected from Shelby Pond in South Carolina, and Georgia is deposited in the University of Tennessee Entomology Collection, Knoxville, Tennessee, USA. Material from Florida is deposited in the William L. Peters Museum Collection of Aquatic Insects, Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, Florida (FL), USA.
