The biology and distribution of Oecetis larvae in North America (Trichoptera: Leptoceridae)
Michael A. Floyd
Abstract: Larvae of the genus Oecetis are the only strictly predaceous members of the family Leptoceridae. The approximate 20 described species in America north of Mexico are widely distributed and found in a diverse array of aquatic habitats. Larval descriptions are available for only six (30%) of the North American species.
