It was a long and hard journey through the blinding snow. Diana could barely see in front of her. After walking a little while she tripped on a fallen tree branch that had come down because of the strong powerful winds. She did not think she was going to make it but then she remembered that her father believed that she could do it. So she picked herself up and kept going. She could almost have sight of the barn only a few more steps to go.
Finally she made it to the barn. She opened the sliding door and in sight were all the animals that were safe and sound. She felt good that she accomplished making it there. But soon after feeding all the animals, she realized that she still had a long way back to the house. So she went back out in the freezing cold and shut the door. Starting her adventure back home. Following the rope back home she kept in mind that soon later she would find her family at home. At last she sees the lights on inside her house. With a sigh of relief she unhooked her rope. When she knocks on the door she is greeted by her dad! He was so proud of the big job that she had accomplished. And that night all of her family gathered around for a nice dinner to celebrate all they had achieved that day.
