When the quarter-finals draw occurred, every nail-biting fan had to wait until the end to hear about the intense match-up. After the drawing, the football news channels had a ball. Would Ancelotti’s side get revenge on Pep for the demolishing last year, or would Ancelotti play checkers, while Pep would play chess?

FT: 3-3. That was one of the best football games I've ever watched. Gvardiol with his first goal not to mention it was a screamer, Foden with a banger, and Bernardo Silva with a slick free kick. Then for Los Blancos, two cheap goals and a Valverde screamer. What a game. 2-1 In 12 minutes. Wow!
