10’ For the first ten minutes of the match, it’s really been all city. Spurs have to continue relying on Vicario to keep it clean. If Spurs continue this, we’ll definitely see City advancing into the next round.
20’ I can easily see a goal coming here. If Doku and Foden can work with the midfield and defense, City will see the end product. The only flaw in Pep’s squad right now is the chemistry between the wingers and everyone, they just don’t seem to be in the game. Yet.
23’ GOALLLL! Kyle Walker with a beautiful outside-of-the-box finish. We knew it was coming. What a relief for Man City now. Just watch how Foden passes the ball back to Rodri, and Rodri plays it to Walker, and his vision makes up the first goal. Just look at the celebrations now.
27’ GOALLL! Pedro Porro heads the ball in, right through Ortega’s arm. Sloppy from the City defense, and now City is very upset with things. This is definitely not what Pep wants. Just look at Werner, who plays a perfect cross-in, and Ortega is unable to do anything about that. It is just unfortunate that Spurs got that counter, but they used it to their full advantage. Now the game is on.
30’ City have definitely now been playing with a winning motivation. The fight from both sides has definitely affected the scoreline right now. City are still keeping possession, and Spurs are still being sloppy. But we can’t say that the last goal was luck.
31’ GOALLLL! Bernardo Silva with a magnificent Volley, nothing but greatness there. Now City are back where they want to be, and for all the Manchester City fans, it’s Kevin De Bruyne with the assist.
37’ Close from Werner, but it is Dias who saves the day. One word: Sloppiness.
40’ GOALLL! Ten minutes of fight and the Spurs are level. This game has it all. It’s a great assist from Hojbjerg, as the icing on the cake. Once again, this is not what Man City want.
45’ GOALLL! And it’s Jeremy Doku this time. What a youngster, and what a finish. Goal of the month nominee for sure. From Foden’s corner to Doku’s wonderful ranged volley, it’s class from Manchester City. They are up again. Just look at that spin. No wonder Jeremy Doku is griddying away!
It seems that for the entire first half City has been the dominant side. Spur’s ball control just seems to be sloppy today. With the one chance where Werner was clear, Dias was easily able to swoop in. We just haven’t seen enough from Spurs, and City have taken that to full advantage. It’s 3-2 during the break, and it is any team's game. I am sure both managers have a lot to talk about during the halftime break.
58’ GOALLL! James Maddison, back from injury, the darts man himself. It is now 3-3. Richarlison celebrating like never before, and the Spurs are happier than ever. Pep Guardiola is sure angry now. But on the other hand, Postecolglo’s half-time break talk worked. It seems that Grealish is mad at Richarlison. Oh no.
59’ Oh wow, Grealish and Richarlison are really getting into it now. Excessive celebrations from Richarlison have fueled the Englishman. We’ve seen this before. Classic Jack Grealish. OH! WOW! Grealish is not backing down, and neither is the Brazilian Richarlison. Dias and Gvardiol are both yelling at him to get out of there, BUT IT’S TOO LATE! Grealish has now punched the Brazilian and gave him the finger. A Red Card is coming for sure. This is going too far from Grealish. He will have to apologize on social media for this. OH! It’s RED! Jack Grealish has been ejected from the match, while Richarlison is only receiving a yellow. I think they both deserve red. I wish I could go yell at the ref right now. Richarlison should have red. Social Media will be going crazy about this, and the whole Man City squad will not be happy with him. This is chaos. But for Spurs, it is nothing but an advantage.
70’ It’s still 3-3 and Spurs have got nothing out of City’s 10 men. Credit to both side's defense.
89’ GOALLLLLLLLL! MAN CITY ARE AHEAD! AND IT’S THE WONDERKID OSCAR BOBB! 89TH MINUTE MAGIC! OSCAR BOBB TO SAVE THE DAY! AND RODRI ASSIST! CITY! CITY! CITY! CITY!
90’+10 And it’s full-time in London! City win, and an unforgettable game for everyone. City will be heading back to Dubai, with nothing but smiles.
