Random Rants #5 by Madeline Perchiniak
And we’re back again! Welcome to a fifth week of Random Rants! This week has actually not annoyed me in comparison to others, but still, there’s always something to rant about!
Diving into my number one annoyance of the week; Chromebooks and how they’re designed. Yes, I know I’ve already covered this, but I have one more complaint. WHY CAN YOU TURN OFF YOUR CHROMEBOOK ANY OTHER WAY THAN THE OFF BUTTON?! I swear if someone else turns my Chromebook off by hitting the restart button and whatever the button with the arrow on it, I’m going to lose it. Like please, turn someone else’s chromebook off and leave me alone. I don’t know what made people really, really want to do this this week, but it is so annoying.
Moving along, waterbottles. (Waterbottles?! Really, what has my life become) Anyways, I have been finding that some brands of waterbottles dent so easily, while others keep their shape. Say what you want about Stanley, but I’ve had mine for almost two years, and we’re still going strong with no dents (and it’s white). Also, Hydroflask needs to have a waterbottle drop-test because why is it so loud when they drop. Like we do not need a whole entire earthquake when someone drops their Hyrdroflask.
Coming in conclusion, socks. This is entirely ridiculous, I know, but why can’t all socks just be comfortable. To be a good sock it needs to be soft, and more than .000001 inches of fabric. In my opinion, nobody makes good socks anymore! Nike socks are fine, but they’re not as comfortable as others, and also socks with patterns needs to come back, because I’m sick of being confined to white socks. They are boring, and it’s impossible to walk anywhere, because oops! You got a stain on them. Please make colored socks or socks with patterns on them come back to even the point of wearing them occasionly, because sure, white socks look nice, but they have too many cons.
This week did not include the most annyances, but in my life there is no week where nothing annoys me, therefore the reason behind this series.
Here’s to five Random Rants!
