Fake vs. Real Christmas Trees by Madeline Perchiniak
Opinions are mixed about getting a fake Christmas tree versus a real one. Personally, I have a firm opinion about this topic, but we’re going to try to see this argument from both sides.
FAKE
Fake Christmas trees are super convenient, and make little to no mess. Solid points. While there is no magical memory of going to the local Christmas tree farm to pick out the perfect tree, this gives parents peace of mind. The fake tree side of this dispute is not a bad one.
REAL
Real Christmas trees also have some solid arguments. They smell good, bring the family together to pick out the tree, and build valuable core memories. They do however have a few cons: their bristles fall off every two seconds when carrying the tree into the house, they can be very expensive, and are very picky about how much water you feed them.
While both versions of Christmas trees are great in their own way, let's be serious it really doesn’t matter what type of tree you have. My opinion is real trees all the way, but all Christmas trees bring holiday cheer with them and begin the start of the Christmas tradition.
Merry Christmas to whatever tree you may have in your home!
