広小路通りから階段をのぼって城山八幡宮に行った、末森城址碑は階段を上りきった右手、西から末森城址碑の所まで車で来る事が出来る。近くに日泰寺がある。

I took the Higashiyama subway line to Kakuozan station, two stops before Higashiyama Koen. From exit 2, I walked east along Suemori-street and turnd left at the fourth street, after the main intersection(suemori-street2). I walked up the small street until I reached the stairs at the base of the small hill that Suemori castle is built on. Going up the stairs, and passing the memorial stone on the right, brought me to Suemori castle. You can go up the castle by car from left hand side road,.Lord Oda Nobuhide Built this Castle. It was doomed to abandonment in 1558. "From the explanatory board(note)"Shiroyama; shiro=castle, yama=mountain. Ji=Buddhist temple. jinja=gu=Shinto shrine. This temple is Nitai-ji. There is a five-storied pagoda, It's near the castle
