MISS NORDEN 1961

The event was held in Reykjavik's Hotel Borg in Iceland, with a contestant from each of the five Scandinavian countries.

This led to the idea of the Miss Scandinavia contest, first held in January 1963, with 2 participants from each country. Finnartists organized the annual pageant in cities around Finland.  The pageant was discontinued in 2005.
