Tick Tock our senior year is running out.
We’re ready to graduate without a doubt.
We’ll miss our friends when we leave.
But we’ll look forward to the things we’ll achieve.
It won’t be long till we flip the page.
And start our new chapter once we walk the stage.
What inspired me to write this poem was the fact that we’re graduating, and our senior year is going by so fast and before we know it, we’re gonna be walking across the stage and starting a new chapter in our lives no matter what. It may be scary, but there's a whole new world out there that we have yet to experience and be apart of, so put on your reading glasses because our new chapters are about to begin.
I love how she made everything rhyme and it definitely made me feel even more like a senior because we are about to be halfway done for the school year.

I really love this poem. The way Emma connects with the rest of the senior class in which is about to graduate. I really like how although it can be a very sad moments there is still many positive outcomes as high school students.

They way this poem just flows so elegantly is so soothing. It's like each stanza has a specific meaning, and is just written for me. I feel like the poet is talking to me directly, like it's warning me that time is running out but at the same time, something new is on it's way. My two favorite lines are, "It won’t be long till we flip the page", and "And start our new chapter once we walk the stage."

I love how Emma made everything rhyme and how she describes that all seniors in a few months are going to walk the stage without even noticing. Its emotional because its incredible how we already going to graduate and become adults experiencing a new chapter.

It is so impressive that the poem had rhythm in it. Crazy as it is, us seniors will be leaving soon and it is actually a lot to think about. This poem summarizes everyone's thoughts.
