Life is about losing
As we get older we lose our
Hair, teeth, family
And those who overcome those losses
Succeed
While writing this I had just finished listening to an inspirational video, and in that video they were talking about how everyone sees success as how much we win and what we have, but the person said something that stuck with me: “Life is about losing.” Once I started thinking of this I realized that life was actually about losing and life came to my mind. What in life you may ask? Well, I realized how as we age we lose our hair, our teeth, our family members, and how most of us lose money but I realized that those who overcome that, those who learn to live with losing those things are the ones who succeed in life. This is why writing this poem was so easy yet so hard; the thought process behind it took me a good bit, but when it all clicked it was just there, perfect. I have always loved success and what it takes to be successful, so looking at this different type of success made me aware of success in life.
I have to admit, it is very short but sweet with a great deep and strong meaning to it.I did like the 3 examples given, they help elaborate on such things we "loose" along the way.
