When I was in middle school I thought about giving up on school, giving up on trying in school, getting bad grades like 56 or 60. I was like this until I started to think about giving back to my parents financially and started to try because I want this to happen, and for that reason I never gave up.
To the younger audience over there, if you ever feel like giving up, just remember that if you do, you will not be successful and you may work for a harder job and barely get paid and not work in a successful job in which you would get paid a lot. When you try in school, there is a huge difference from not trying.
When I was in middle school I wasn’t trying enough and even felt like giving up. One of my teachers helped me a lot, saying that if I at least tried, it is better than not doing anything. I started trying on each and every one of my classes and there was a huge difference in my grades from 56 to 75 from failing to passing. I used to not do any work in class, and now in high school I do almost all of my work, and I have never failed a class in high school. This has made my GPA higher, and I have more opportunities in college and universities to go to. I advise everyone who is in school right now to try on all of your assignments even if it's not right because teachers will help you more and more and you will understand.
You will be more successful by trying rather than not trying. Start trying now because the longer you wait, it is going to become more difficult as the time passes. I always had a dream of giving back to my parents for what they have done for me.
Think of your dream and chase your dream; nobody is going to tell you not to chase it. You are the one who is going to chase your dreams and not anybody else. Whatever your dream may be, you will need to start somewhere. My dream is to give back to my parents financially and for that I need a job and I need to go to a university. You all should try your hardest by chasing your dreams.
This essay that I wrote was actually inspired by myself, learning these mistakes by myself with a few people helping me out. I have been thinking about this dream for a long time and I want to achieve it by working as hard as I can. I wrote this essay starting with the main idea and then talking about my story that happened that connects to the main idea. I am happy of where I am know than before.
