Have you ever struggled with trying to go to sleep? Well here’s some tips that help those who are in need of better sleep.
Many people have different preferences to help them fall asleep. I personally feel like soothing nature sounds help me sleep better. When I listen to them before I fall asleep I picture myself in an area I'm surrounded by, depending on what I'm listening to. Sometimes it is very difficult to try and fall asleep and it gets very aggravating. Trust me, I've been there before, I know what it feels like. A lot of people try to use melatonin to get them sleepy and it works but after a while I don't think your body would like that anymore. So soon or later your body will start rejecting it. I don't think it’s healthy to be taking any kind of medication to help you sleep, because there's always a better way for things to work out.
Here are some tips for a better sleep.Make sure you go to sleep at the same time every night, and you wake up at the same time everyday.Make sure your room is dark and quiet and it you have a comfortable temperature. Also don’t go to sleep hungry or stuffed.Try to avoid heavy food at night, the discomfort in your stomach may keep you up.Some people like to take naps during the day and you have to limit those. If by any chance you take naps during the day try to limit yourself to only 30 minutes.
I chose to write about this topic because I wanted others to understand the different ways you can sleep better. I kind of had a hard time figuring out what I wanted to write about. When I did figure it out I still had a hard time trying to get everything together. Eventually I got it together and it just came fast and made sense. I also was inspired to write about this because I like to sleep.
What I thought of this piece is that it was very well detailed. The author really described ways we could sleep better. I sometimes use rain sounds to sleep better. So I think soothing nature sounds actually help me sleep better and I think people should try it and you never know you might start to sleep better if you're struggling to sleep.
