My home isn't a location that can be found on any maps,
I never knew a home didn't have to be a place
A home can be someone
My home is a place where I feel safe, loved and appreciated
And I have never gotten this feeling anywhere else other than when I am with you.
You are my home,
The home I never realized I was searching for
You just appeared out of nowhere
And just like that I now felt at home
I have never felt that I fit in anywhere, I have never felt at ease or comfortable, but after finding my ¨someone” I now felt at peace and comfortable I felt as though I finally fit in. I wrote this poem in order to remind people that a home doesn't necessarily mean an actual home, a home is anywhere where you feel like you.
I can relate this poem back to the one I wrote so I think that is why I really enjoyed reading it. A home isn't always a place and sometimes it takes people a long time to learn that. I know for me I did not find my home in a places but in people. Great job on writing such a great piece Sammy!

"My home is a place where I feel safe, loved and appreciated" I love this sentence, it makes me think that you wrote it with exactly what you thought and felt at that time. That is unique, not everyone writes a poem with their heart.

"You just appeared out of nowhere" is the line that captivated my attention, it was as if this was the breaking point. I enjoyed that you feel like your home is someone you cherish.

This poet really understood the assignment. I love the phrase, "My home is a place where I feel safe, loved and appreciated." This is so true, and the fact that your home is someone makes me feel warm inside because I can relate to that. My home is my mom, so, to read this and relate is really cool.
