The book The Hate You Give by Angie Thomas is about how a girl witnessed two murders in front of her before she even became an adult, and one of the murderers was a cop. He killed her friend in front of her for no reason and she was traumatized and that actually reminds me of nowadays how cops kill people for no reason because of their looks and how it affects people that witness these kinds of things. What inspired me to write this review is the girl's story because the stuff that’s happening to her is happening to a lot of people nowadays, and that tells me that the world is not changing at all.
