Keep moving forward
I need to keep moving forward
But can I?
These innocent lives
Can I take them? To save my master?
I can!
I must!
Put those feelings away Baam
And keep moving forward
This poem is inspired by the webtoon Tower of God season 3 main idea in which Baam, the main character, wants to save his master before he gets killed. I don’t think I used any literary device. For anyone who hasn’t read Tower of God, God of High School, Solo Leveling, Omniscient Reader, I recommend you to read it. It will change your life.
I liked how the author included " I can!, I Must!" as a motivational quote for him to continue on. I also liked how we can see this poem in different perspectives for example I can infer how someone is going through something hard but need to continue with their life. The quote " This innocent lives " , the first thing I thought was of children and how they needed to save them. Its just amazing how his perspective is a different one than what the reader can imagine.
