I hate Poetry
It takes so much time
To find the right rhyme
It’s something I really hate
I find it so hard to create
It’s like cooking without a recipe
It’s always so messily
But at the end of the day
It comes out the right way
I really hate poetry
And anyone who thinks the contrary
You see, that last phrase
Was a disgrace
It took me so long,
For this to not go wrong
Poems are menaces
They will remain my nemesis
See, that last rhyme
Should really be a crime
I think this piece of poetry is very self explanatory and it is very easy to visualize what the emotions behind my words are.
I like how this poem is very ironic as the author is talking about how they hate poems by writing a poem about it. I really liked the rhymes used in the poem such as the last line "see, that last rhyme should really be a crime," as they add humor to the poem.

I like the bluntness of the topic at hand along with the playfulness in between lines. The piece reminds me of a bittersweet type of relationship. She hates poetry but plays along it's rhyme scheme.

I love the blatant irony in this poem, with the perfect rhymes and the lazy tone with right style, just makes it 10x better.
